HKV will witness a night of blues and rock on the 18th of August. Hailing from Shillong, Soulmate will be performing live at antiSOCIAL on Thursday. A band that was formed out of a dedication to playing Blues, and spreading awareness and love for the genre of music in the country. A band that started with Rudy Wallang and Tipriti Kharbangar now also has Leon Wallang and Vincent Tariang also a part of the crew.
Soulmate’s influences range from Buddy Guy, Albert Collins, Jimi Hendrix, Carlos Santana, Roy Buchanan, Jimmie Vaughn, Muddy Waters, Steve Gaines, George Harrison, Albert King, BB King, Freddie King and Koko Taylor amongst others.
The act will be supported by The Groovesmen, a power blues-rock group from Delhi itself.
