Bobby - 'The thing we love about Bobby is that he's always had a funky spirit and he always
pushes the elements of music'- His audienceBharatesh N Salso know as Bobby has been synonymous with the Indian dance music industry for over two decades as a record collector, house innovator and true legend of the scene.
However, his music bandwidth stretches much further; representing the spirit of 70's disco and
80s/90s house with contemporary flair that makes him like no other artist on the scene. People
have been missing the funk and thats what Bobby does best.Born and raised in Bangalore,
Bobby was entrenched in music from an early age, 1999 to be exact, a time when the house
scene was blossoming. Sharpening his skills spinning vinyl at small clubs in Bangalore, Bobbys
experience in the late 90s behind the decks converted into a profound knowledge of what people
want on the dance floor, a trait still ingrained in him today.
He quotes 'I listen to a track and right away know what I want to do with it, how to make it
different and how it will work for me in my sets.After his residency from 2000-2004, he has been
freelancing extensively ,his work being recognized in countries like Hongkong , Dubai, Malaysia,
Bangkok and Colombo, playing for some big music festivals across the Indian market as well. He
has wowed crowd in every major metropolis, like Mumbai, Pune, Chennai, Goa and Delhi to name a few. His devotion to the development of the Indian EDM scene, He continues to blur the lines by refusing to be limited by style or tempo. His varied sound encompasses many different genres of music, from melodic progressive and electro daytime grooves to Funk , Nu Disco and Break beat sets. The common factor is he plays fun, sexy, uplifting and positive music that just makes you smile and feel good!
