Mayhem (in August) is an event dedicated to playing board games with political, economic, and war themes.
The games available to play on the day include Dominion, Keyflower, Power Grid, Splendor, Istanbul, Innovation, Puerto Rico, Manhattan Project, Kashgar: Traders on the Silk Road, Dogs of War, Archipelago, Terra Mystica, and many more.
This event is open for newcomers. Board games are much more than Ludo, Scrabble and Monopoly. They will teach you the rules for each game before you start, and you can try any game whose theme or mechanics you find interesting.
The event is hosted by Tabletop India in collaboration with the Hive and Culture Shoq. Tabletop India is a not for profit group devoted to introducing people to board games, pen and paper role-playing games, and other tabletop games as a hobby.
