Blind Poetry Edition 2 is happening on 22nd July at The Hive.

Blind Poetry is an anonymous poetry platform that takes place in the dark, literally. This allows a poet to recite personal poems with the security of anonymity and the comfort of the dark. You could dress up like Lady Gaga and still perform simplistic poems, because that’s the gift darkness gives you.

At Blind Poetry, along with snapping your fingers you can wave the glowsticks provided to you, and have your own 4 minute mini concert.

Since it’s dark, it goes without saying that we will not encourage people to read out of paper (since there is no light) or your phone (since we don’t want you to temporarily blind yourself).

The only time we will be having any sort of light is for our Artist in the Spotlight who is an upcoming freshface in the poetry scene.
