Rupin Pass Himalayan Trek will take place from June 6th till June 18th at Pune.

Event Description
With this winsome Rupin Pass trek experience, unravel the high altitude Rupin Pass and engage in the many thrills that come along the way. The Pass is perched at 4600m in the surreal Himalayan mountain range of Himachal Pradesh.

Based on the intensity of the snow, this path might get challenging at times. Throughout, you will be greeted with stunning scenery such as cascades, verdant meadows, snow-kissed mountains, charming hamlets and big rivers.

Begin your Rupin Pass trekking by paying respects at the Pokhu Devta, an ancient place of worship. The delights of the tour include trekking amidst rhododendron woodlands, fields and ascending pictorial meadows.

You will also have to brace yourself for climbing up snowy patches. As you make your way through some hamlets, get a fine whiff of their local culture and lives. Also, enjoy fabulous views of Kinner Kailash range along with the hamlets that dot the Sangla Valley.

**** Days by Day Itinerary:

Days 01 Rout-(Via) Dehradun, Mussorie, Nowgaon, Purola, Netwar Dhaula Village (1500 M.) Drive in from Dehradun, very early in the morning to beat traffic. Lunch at Nowgaon. Reach Netwar G.M.V.N Unite with Logistics’ team start support from agency Catch hired vehicle to drive to Dhaula Reach Dhaula late in the evening Camp for the night Day 1 of Trek starts.

Days 02 Dhaula Village to Godsngu (2000m.) Distance 10km. Route-(Via)Sewa (2000m.)(12kmt) (6hrs) Leval climbs with short gental walk in between Easy Day; Follow trail on true right of Rupin River. Go past at Sewa village and camp at Gosangu. From here one route goes across Rupin to kitwari and takes call on this direction depending on ground conditions.!!

Days 03 Sewa to (2000m.) to Jakha (2400m.) Distance 12km. Route-(Via) Jiskon village (2500M) Trail Follow on river side and then gradually up to reach Jiskon village perched at a height almost over confluence of rupin and Narayani Gaad. Proceed ahead till Jakha till the route crosses the Rupin and the retracing trail to Narayani Gaad confluence on the true right bank of Rupin. Camp the night.

Days 04 Jakha Bridge (2500m.) to Suruwas thach (3300m.) Distance 12km Route-(Via) Pandhar Village (3000 m.) Tough Day-River Crossings: After trekking to the confluence. Catch the True Right bank of Narayani Gaad. Proceed North-East till flat grounds of Suriwas in Gradually rising trail. Cross at least 4 tributary Nalas Camp.

Days 05 Suruwas thach (3300 m.) to Dhabderas Thach (5kmt) (5hrs) (4200 m.) Break camp early to proceed beyond the major confluence up North. Keep to True right bank and catch the Spur due North leading to. Dhabderas Thach Climb the side to Base camp as ground levels out near the pass base.

Days 06 Dhabderas Thach to (3800m.) Upper Waterfall camp by trek (3kmt) (3hrs)(4000mt)

Days 07 UpperwaterFall to Roti Gad by trek (12kmt)(7hrs) (4500Mt) t

Days 08 Roti Gad To Sangla by trek (12kmt)(7hrs)(4000mt) Shimla

Reporting at Dehradoon : 11th June.
