Sandakphu 70 Mile Himalayan 4 day Supported Stage Race will be hedls from April 9th till16th April.

Event Description
The tallest mountain ranges in the world, the Himalayan ranges are spread across the northern part of the Indian Subcontinent. These stunning and awe inspiring mountains span across thousands of miles and hold within it an exceptionally diverse ecology.

Coniferous and subtropical forests, wetlands and grasslands are as much a part of this world as the inhospitable, frozen mountaintops that tower above. The word Himalaya in Sanskrit literally means “abode of snow” – is so fitting for a stretch of land that houses the world’s largest ice masses.

The Himalayas are not only an exceptional beauty- they’re Poetry. They’re divine. They’re sublime. And MUST be preserved as they are crucial for our survival. And in the most difficult, remote and trying conditions, The WindChasers brings to you The Sandakphu 70 Mile Himalayan Race – A 4 day Stage Race that takes you through some of the most wondrous post-card like stunning images you’ll ever have seen.

The beauty of Mount Everest, Kanchenjunga, Lhotse & Makalu along with the fascinating culture of the locals and Sherpas may almost help you forget the incredible challenge the terrain offers you.
