Chopta Tungnath Trek ,a 4 day truck will be held from April 22nd to April 25th.

Chopta is a picturesque hamlet which is still unexplored by travelers. Chopta is the commencement point of the trek the unexplored Tungnath Temple (one of the Panch-Kedars - A Temple where Lord Shiva's arms are worshipped). 
Beyond the Tungnath Temple there is another beautiful trek of around 1.5 kms and you will reach at Chandrashila (4000 mts above sea level) which offers a splendid view of snow clad Himalayan peaks including Nanda Devi, Trishul and Chaukhamba. Chopta, Tungnath and Chandrashila are covered with snow during winters.

Itinerary

Day 1 Thu
- Start the overnight journey from Delhi

Day 2 Friday
- Visit the Tehri dam enroute
- Take stroll in Chopta village

Day 3 Saturday: Chopta - Tungnath - Chopta (Trek)
- Start the trek which will take around 6 hrs 
- Look for Golden Breast Eagles
- Walk around villages

Day 4, Sunday: Chopta Haridwar - Delhi 
- After an early lunch start for Haridwar and retire for the night
